Document Description
The SFPUC proposes to construct a new water conveyance tunnel which will extend ~3.5 miles from the Alameda West Portal on the west side of the Sunol Valley (in Sunol Valley, Alameda County), to the Irvington Portal in the City of Fremont. Construction will occur at 4 work areas: Alameda West Portal (in Sunol Valley, Alameda County), Sheridan Valley (along Sheridan Rd in Alameda County), Vargas (along Vargas Rd adjacent to I-680 in Fremont) and the Irvington Portal (along Mission Blvd in Fremont) and has been planned to begin in Spring 2010.
