Document Description
Supplement 02 incorporates the remediation of an approximate 1.46 miles of eroding road and seven failing channel crossings along the M-2 road outside the original project scope. In support of the original nature of the proposed work, this supplement to the MND proposes work that will remove outside (downslope-side) berms along the road; deposit removed berm and other fill material against upslope road edges to create outsloped road surfaces; eliminate inboard ditches and itch-relief culverts that service corresponding sections of inboard ditches; remove existing culverts, road fill, and any upslope excess sediment within the stream channels; apply appropriate erosion control materials and methods; monitor and maintain erosion controls and remove invasive plant species; revegetate, as necessary, with native plants salvaged from the site.
