Supplement 04 discloses newly proposed project areas that are within the scope of the original Big River Watershed Restoration Proposition 40- River Parkways Grant Project- (MND), SCH#2006072012; the Glenbrook Gulch and M-9 Spur Decommissioning Projects in the Mendocino Headlands State Park require work to prevent sedimentation to Big River and Albion River, restore watershed and wildlife functions and allow for critical ingress and egress into the park. This includes: road upgrades with a culvert replacement; decommission of 31 sections of legacy logging skid trails; restoration of 25 stream crossings via removal of culverts, road fill, upslope sediment; re-contour to historic geography; re-vegetate to reduce surface water run-off and sedimentation.
