Document Description
The proposed project is part of a facilities improvements project in the Toyon and Live Oak picnic areas in Anderson Lake County Park. On June 27, 2006, the County Board of Supervisors approved the Live Oak Bridge and Toyon Water System Improvements Project and adopted a Negative Declaration for the project. The current project (approved by the County Board of Supervisors on May 11, 2011), however, proposed construction of a new restroom on the south side of Coyote Creek and adjacent to the existing parking lot with connections to City of Morgan Hill water and sanitary sewer systems. As a result, changes to the bridge design consisting of a reduction in size, from 55 feet long to 53 feet long and 15 feet wide to 12 feet wide, and modification to bridge structure loading capacity of have occurred and are incorporated into this project. The CA DFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2011-0335-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Mohamed Assaf, Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department.
