The Reservoir Improvement Program would involve the installation of floating covers that will rest on the top of the five reservoirs and inlet/outlet pipeline to improve reservoir water quality and turnover. Pipeline construction will include approximately 1,100 linear feet at the North Reservoir, 1,000 linear feet at the Northside Reservoir; 2,200 linear feet at the Morro Reservoir; 650 linear feet at Pala Mesa Reservoir; and 5,400 linear feet for the Beck Reservoir. The covers and inlet/outlet pipeline improvements would be built within RMWD's existing reservoir footprints and along Citrus Drive, Citrus Lane and Dos Ninos Road, to the intersection of Wilt Road and Canonita Drive where it will connect to an existing pipeline. Constructions anticipated to begin infall or winter 2006 and would be completed over a 26 month period.
