The current land use for the project site is mining and processing of aggregate. The site is zoned Agriculture-Residential (A-R).
Black Diamond Aggregates is proposing modification to their existing use permit (CUP #2870) and reclamation plan to allow mining below existing grade and reclamation of the site to open space and habitat. The project would be located on approximately 175 acres currently utilized for mining operations.
