Document Description
The propose of this PIER contract is to establish the value of new benchmarking tools, to demonstrate energy and demand performance potentials of digital lighting controls, and to advance the specification and use of performance monitoring systems in large commercial buildings. This program meets the PIER Goal of Improving the Energy Cost/Value of California's Electricity by accelerating the introduction of better benchmarking and monitoring tools and more efficient and reliable equipment and methods to heat, cool, ventilate and light the commercial building stock in California, including both new and existing buildings of virually all occupancy types, and in all California climatic zones.
