TheCity of Ferndale is upgrading it WWTF to meet water quality and wastewater discharge standards. The proposed WWTF consists of the following components; replacement of the existing influent pump station, expansion of the existing headworks facility, 3.5 MGD stormwater basin, new treatmentm disinfection, and contol buildings, and creation of ~5 acres of wetlands within the footprint of the existing WWTF.
