Document Description
The City of Concord is proposing amendments to the Concord 2030 Urban Area General Plan, adoption of a Development Code, and a new Zoning Map (Collectively the "Concord Development Code Project" or "Proposed Project"). In connection with the Concord Development Code Project, the City of Concord is preparing a supplemental EIR to the Concord Urban Plan General Plan EIR. The proposed Update is intended to achieve the following primary objectives: - Allow the City to provide excellent customer service, facilitate economic growth, and support new development throughout Concord. - Remove a major impediment to developers, property owners, and residents by creating consistency between the General Plan and Zoning Ordinance. - Streamline the development review process through a current, comprehensive, and internally consistent set of development regulations.
