Document Description
The EIR will analyze the potential consequences of adopting the proposed General Plan for Concord's urban area. It will discuss how General Plan policies will affect the environment, identify significant impacts, and recommend measures to mitigate those impacts. The EIR will also consider the Environmental impacts of the Alternatives developed earlier in the update process, and identify an environmentally superior alternative. The EIR will not address the inland portion of the Concord Naval Weapons Station or base reuse planning as this will be the subject of a separate environmental review process.
