Document Description
The proposed project consists of the construction of a groundwater treatment plant and remote groundwater wells to supply potable water to the Vineyard Springs Comprehensive Plan (VSCP) area and the approved Wildhawk Estates.
The Water Supply Master Plan for the Vineyard Springs area proposed the construction of the WTP in the vicinity of Wildhawk Drive and Sorenstam Drive. The proposed location and specifications are consistent with the Vineyard Springs Comprehensive Plan (September 1999).
The 5-acre WTP will ultimately consist of a network of wells, filtration units, water storage tanks, booster pumps, disinfection facilities, and an operation building with control equipment. The majority of the site will be paved. A 25-foot landscape strip will be constructed on the street frontage and a 15-foot wide landscape strip will be constructed on the interior perimeter of the site. A 15-foot access road will be constructed on the interior perimeter of the 15-foot landscape strip.
