Approval of a MND regarding the construction of a 1,030 acre-feet impoundment basin on 160 acres of rice fields. The surface area of the proposed basin would be approximately 160 acres, with a maximum depth of 7 to 12 feet. The facility would be constructed within the floodplain of Coon Creek to passively capture a portion of the overbank 100-year storm event flood flow from the creek.
