Document Description
The City of Lincoln proposes to purchase an easement from the property owner to construct, operate, and maintain a volumetric storage facility. The project proponent would construct an 1,030 acre-feet impoundment basin on 160 acres of rice fields. The basin would be constructed within the floodplain of Coon Creek to passively capture a portion of the overbank 100-year storm event flood flow from the creek.
