Document Description
The project consists of developing the vacant site with a total of seven new buildings that will ultimately accommodate a variety of office, retail, and services uses as allowed within the Service Commercial zoning district. The total floor area of all the buildings combined will be 70,500 square feet. No construction or grading is proposed to encroach within the creek area. Parking is proposed to be accommodated with outdoor asphalt parking areas combined with pedestrian paths and landscape areas. The applicants have been granted a Use Permit to allow a 10% reduction in the required number of parking spaces.
The plans propose a mixture of one and two story buildings that are characterized by ribbed metal roofing, large overhangs, ribbed metal siding and metal awnings. The color choice is two-tone grey with a blue accent trim. Window frames are proposed to be a satin finish clear aluminum. The design of the project is influenced by other buildings within the airport area.
