Document Description
NOTE: Supplemental NOP Withdrawn per lead on 8/9/10. The Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) has filed an application with the CPUC for approval of a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) for the acquistion of the PdV Wind Energy Project. The CPUC, as California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) lead agency is required to determine whether adequate CEQA review has been completed for the Project, thereby providing CEQA clearance for the CPUC's decision on PG&E's application. During the CPUC's review of the PdV Environmental Impact Report (EIR), certified by Kern County in July 2008, it was determined that additional analysis of Biological Resources is needed, Specifically, the Supplemental EIR will evaluate potential impacts to the California condor in more detail.
