Document Description
The proposed project consists of the development of an active adult community with approximately 1,200 residential units on 170 acres. This community would be gated with private streets. In addition to the residential units, the community would contain recreational amenities including picnic areas, park, walking/bicycle trails, multi-purpose room for community events/social programs, business center, tennis courts, fitness center, and outdoor swimming pool/spa. In order to accommodate this development, a general plan amendment and zone change would be required to change the general plan designation from Non-Urban Residential to Urban Residential and to change the zoning from RR-2.5 to MDR (moderate density residential).
