Document Description
The Citrus Grove Estates project proposes a 156-lot single-family residential development northeast of the State Route 86 (SR-86) / McCabe Road intersection, just south of the City of El Centro. The project entails annexation of an approximately 47.0-acre parcel of unincorporated land from the County of Imperial to the City, rezone the land from the County's A1U zone to the City's R-1 zone, subdivide the parcel into 156 residential lots, two park lots, and one retention basin lot, and construct single-family residences, park space, a storm water retention basin, and related infrastructure on the site. The project also includes annexing the City an additional 20 parcels on 23 acres north of the project site in order to avoid creating an "island" of unincorporated land.
