This proposed project involves the subdivision and development of undeveloped land into a 38 lot single family residential community. The project will result in permanent impacts to 8 acres of Mohave ground squirrel habitat. The DFG is issuing a Minor Amendment to an Incidental Take Permit for the Mohave ground squirrel, which is protected by the Endangered Species Act and which could be taken as a result of the Project. The Minor Amendment extends the expiration date of the permit to December 31, 2013.
