Document Description
The proposed project consists of an acquisition of a small parcel situated between the state highway right-of-way and eastern edge of Humboldt Redwoods State Park, which is south of Scotia. The property is all second-growth redwood forest. The proposed action will provide for the opportunity to secure an in-holding and to enlarge the existing park. The project will transfer the ownership of land to the California Department of Parks and Recreation to ensure preservation of open space and the natural environment. No facilities are planned for this property.
