Document Description
Replace four posts holding up the entrance sign at Sugar Pine Point State Park. Postholes will be 13" to 16" wide and up to 3 feet in depth. Park staff will perform the work using a gas powered post-hole digger and hand tools. No vegetation will be disturbed. Staging will be at the job site. In the event that potentially significant historical/archaeological resources are encountered during the project construction, work within the immediate vicinity of the find will be temporarily halted or diverted until a DPR-qualified cultural resource specialist has evaluated the find and implemented treatment and disposition of the artifact(s).
