Document Description
Install a vertical extension to the existing three-foot high fence surrounding the forebay at the Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park. The extension is necessary to meet Cal OSHA public safety requirements for the fence height. The extension will be accomplished by clamping additional vertical and horizontal support pipes to the existing pipe fence posts. The new pipe will match the existing pipe posts as closely as possible. The new pipe will be clamped or wired to the existing pipe, requiring no drilling or damage to the existing pipe and the entire pipe extension will be reversible. Prior to any work being completed, photographs will be taken to document the existing fence. After completion of the project, photographs will be taken to provide a record of the project. Photographs will be stored in the District Cultural Resource Specialist files.
