The project is an expansion of the current WWTRP to provide sufficient capacity to handle the City's anticipated influent and BOD loadings. The improvements include a third primary facultative pond (Pond 1C), upgrading an existing advanced facultative pond (Pond 1B), constructing a new outfall with a diffuser system to the Napa River, and constructing secondary and tertiary treatment improvements.
