Present Land Use
Project will be constructed in existing transmission line right-of-way (ROW) and in new ROW primarily in agricultural and open space areas and near some residences.
The project will address the construction and operation of approximately 40 miles of new double-circuit 230 kilovolt (kV) transmission line, in the Sacramento, California area, within portions of Sacramento, Placer, and Sutter Counties. Alternative routes for this project have been identified at this time.
