Document Description
The proposed project would construct an earthen levee west of the Feather River at Star Bend. The project would replace a segment of the river's existing levee that currently constricts flood flows in the river and presents an unacceptably high risk for levee failure due to seepage concerns. Construction of the setback levee would remove the existing constriction and reduce water surface elevations along the levees upstream of the project site.
