Document Description
The Cit. of Livingston 2025 GPU focuses on major revisions to three main elements - Land Use, Circulation and Urban Boundaries - of the City's 1999 General Plan. Minor revisions to the remaining elements of Open Space, Conservation and Recreation, Public Services and Facilities, and Safety are also included in the GPU. In addition, the 2025 GPU expands the City's Sphere of Influence (SOI) by approx. 2,905 acres. In addition to the 3,232 acres already contained in the existing SOI, the GPU adds 3,232 acres to the proposed SOU, as well as 2,261 acres of Urban Reserve areas. The 2025 GPU ultimately proposes a GP Area boundary of 8,398 acres (3,232 acres within the City limits and existing SOI + 2,905 acres within the proposed SOI + 2,261 acres of Urban Reserve).
