Document Description
The project includes proposed amendments to the City of Solana Beach Municipal Code (SBMC), Title 17, "Zoning Ordinance," specifically, but not limited to sections of: Chapter 17.08, "Definitions"; and to three zones, within Chapter 17.20, "Residential Zones." The three zones include: Low Residential (LR), 3 du/ac; Low-Medium Residential (LMR), 4 du/ac; and Medium Residential (MR), 5-7 du/ac. The purpose of the proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendments is to regulate new construction, remodeling or replacement, of single family homes, which could otherwise result in incompatibility with existing community character, bulk and scale. No construction projects are proposed.
