Document Description
The applicant is proposing to construct a 14,576 square-foot retail drug store and related parking and landscape areas on a vacant approximately 2.5 acre site located at the northwest cornerof Van Buren Blvd. and Arlington Ave. The proposed site plan for the drug store includes a dual drive-thru lane serving a pharmacy drop-off/pick-up window on the northerly side of the building, Pursuant to the Zoning Code Section 19.30.020, businesses with drive-thru lanes incorporated into the site design require consideration of a Conditional Use Permit in the C-2 zone. Conditional Use Permit (P05-1188) and Design Review (P05-1190) applications have been submitted to facilitate the project as proposed. Also, in order to facilitate the project, a Rezoning Case (P05-1198) has been submitted to place the entire site in the C-2- Restricted Commercial Zone. The rezoning case will be required to be adopted prior to the issuance of any permits for the project.
