Document Description
The project will develop 75 acres of land for a high school and associated campus. The high school campus will be developed in a "four-step" manner, with each terrace stepping down so that each successive cluster lies lower than the pervious one, with classrooms located on the top terrace and athletic fields on the lowest terrace. Construction on 25 acres of the project site will result in impacts to Mohave ground squirrel (Spermophilus ohavensis), a species designated as threatened under the California Endangered Species Act (CESA). The permit referenced Issuance of California Endangered Species Act Incidental Take Permit No. 2081-2007-034-05) authorizes incidental take of the species under CESA that may result with implementation of the project.
