Document Description
Install a 4' by 8' information sign at the Mammoth Bar river access site within Auburn State Recreational Area to notify boaters traveling down river take-out location and to warn boaters of the danger of Class VI Murderer's Bar Rapid approximately one half mile below the take-out. The metal sign will be bolted to two steel support posts. Flat metal plates will be welded to the two steel sign posts supporting the information sign. These plates will be bolted into eight 5/8" anchors (4 anchor holes for each plate) drilled 8" deep into bedrock. The sign and signposts will be able to be removed prior to flood events.
