Document Description
Issuance of State Parks scientific collecting permits, and a Right of Entry Permit, to San Diego, to San Diego Gas & Electric, and its consultants, for the purpose of conducting biological, archaeological, and geological (soils and seismic) surveys within certain selected linear routes with Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Data collected will be incorporated into the EIR/EIS for the proposed Sunrise Powerlink project, a 500 kV electrical transmission line. In addition, SDG&E will be allowed to conduct engineering surveys to place temporary markers to identify the sites of certain proposed project facilities. State Parks personnel will accompany SDG&E consultants during survey work to assure avoidance of impacts to sensitive resources.
