Document Description
The purpose of this activity is to revise guidelines previously adopted by the California Energy commission to govern the certification of renewable energy resources (power plant facilities) eligible to satisfy the state's Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS). The revisions 1) clarify the interim tracking system used to verify the electricity procured from renewable energy resources, 2) clarify the accounting used for allocating electricity procured from renewable energy procurement for purposes of RPS compliance.
