The work includes the replacement of two culverts on the access road to the Berryessa Peak Communication Site, and stabilization of the down-slope soils. The two ditch relief culverts, located about 0.2 miles apart, are perforated and continue to be vulnerable to down slope undermining and potential failure if the substratum becomes saturated. Additional work is needed to replace the culverts and stabilize the supporting road drainage features. Planned work includes installation of new headwall structures, culverts, riprap, geotextile fiber, and provide other materials and services, including revegetation.
