Document Description
The WUSD proposes the construction of a new school on a 10.7-acre campus. The District is considering two options for the school. While the decision to operate their school on a K-6 or K-8 school has not been determined, this IS/MND reviews the K-8 option (770 students) as it represents the worst case condition. The proposed project is essentially an in-fill project to accommodate existing increases in the local population. School buildings include classrooms, multipurpose building, administration building, library, gym, playground, and a parking lot. The new school is scheduled to begin operations in fall of 2007.
