Document Description
The objective of the project is to develop a reliable water supply of adequate quality for drinking and cost-effective wastewater treatment in Davis, Woodland, and UC Davis through 2040 without removing a source of irrigation supply that will cause fallowing of agricultural land. The project partners propose to acquire a new surface water supply from the Sacramento River and to construct and operate water intake/diversion, and treatment facilities so that the project partners can use treated surface water in their respective service areas.
