Document Description
Note: An Addendum to the Negative Declaration was prepared for this project) A Modification and two-year extension to a previously approved Coastal Development and Conditional Use permit application. The Conditional Use and Coastal Development Permit, that became effective on November 3, 2009, authorized the expansion of the operations o Eel River Transportation and Salvage Scrap yard. The expanded uses included expanded scrap metal operations, and new chipping and grinding operations and construction, demolitions and inert material operations. Additionally, an 11,250 square foot recycling building was previously permitted. The Modification involves a 150 foot by 75 foot addition (11,250 square foot) to the previously approved 11,250 square foot recycling building. The height of the structure will remain the same as the previously permitted structure (35.5 feet high) and no other modifications are proposed.
