Ordinance Amendment for an in-stream mining operation along the Russian River in the lower Alexander Valley. The project location is approximately 110 acres of gravel bars between River Mile 47.5 and River Mile 54. The project also proposes an Alternative Management Strategy to allow for more precise control of potential impacts and a River Enhancement Plan to restore riparian and in-stream habitat. A 15 year permit has been requested.
