Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-SHA-24786-R1I, pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, CMH Homes, represented by David Brooks. The project is a new residential housing development called “The Reserve at Gold Hills” on an undeveloped 45.25-acre parcel south of Oasis Road and east of Gold Hills Drive. Site preparation will include boring under a streambed of a tributary to Churn Creek, known locally as “Dry Gulch Creek”, for a new sewer connection and the permeant fill of aquatic features. Permanently impacted aquatic resources consist of seasonal swales and ephemeral stream channels, for a total of 0.130 acres/1818.56 linear feet (Project). Impacts to seasonal wetlands will be mitigated onsite. Onsite restoration of avoided ephemeral and intermittent stream channels will mitigate for permanent loss of aquatic resources at a 3:1 ratio.
