Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2006-0484-R2 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Caltrans. Caltrans proposes this embankment repair project to reduce soil erosion and comply with storm water pollution control regulations for the Tahoe Basin. Water quality improvements include collection and treatment of storm water runoff from the highway by rehabilitating the existing drainage systems, and constructing approved water quality treatments improvements, such as sand collection vaults, bio-swales, and infiltration basins.
