Caltrans and FHWA propose to construct water quality improvements and operational improvements from Tahoma through Tahoe City to Squaw Valley Road on State Route 89 in Placer County from Post Mile 0.0-13.8. Improvements will include collection and treatment of storm water runoff from the highway by rehabilitating the existing drainage system and constructing approved water quality treatment methods.
