The project involves the purchase of a 109-acre conservation easement from JEM Farms, a California Limited Partnership, and an access easement on JEM Farms Road, owned by Mr. and Mrs. Hughes. The project purpose is to preserve nesting habitat for bank swallows and other wildlife habitat values and to prevent any use of the property that will impair or interfere with preservation of those habitat values.
Acquisition of land for habitat conservation purposes, which results in no disturbance to any environmental resource.
