Document Description
The Project will determine how rice industry management changes, including disposal of large amounts of organic carbon in-field, affect water quality and will develop the necessary management practices to mitigate the outflow of pollutants that may inpair water quality. The project consists of: (1) of collecting water samples at existing ricefields and returning them to existing UC Davis laboratories for analysis, and (2) implementing alternative seeding methods in existing rice fields.
