Document Description
The project proposes to modify the existing filter backwash hypochlorite diffuser in all of the filters in Modules 3 and 4 of the Mills facility. The modifications consist of extending the diffuser pipe into the lower gullet of the filters. The work area is encased in a concrete structure. Any water that must be drained from the filters will be sent to existing spill tanks. Discharge water will be tested for pH and if necessary will be trucked and disposed offsite. This project involves no expansion of existing use.
