Document Description
The project involves the construction of approximately 3,800 feet of pipeline (Phase 1 is approximately 1,400 feet and Phase 2 is approximately 2,400 feet) to replace a fragile portion of the Gold Run pipeline, which is at risk of failure. The project will include tie-ins to the existing pipeline, and will include the construction of a new ductile iron pipeline that will parallel (in most areas) the existing pipeline; the existing portion of pipeline will be abandoned after construction of the length of the new pipeline is complete. The project will not result in an overall system capacity increase. The proposed pipeline extends along an unpaved utility road and runs down an earth embankment, where it extends along the west-bound lane of Gold Run Road.
