Floodplain restoration and desilting in the floodplains of Lower Walnut Creek between Concord Boulevard and Drop Structure 1 and Lower Grayson Creek from Highway 4 to Chipancingo Parkway. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2006-0076-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Mitch Avalon / Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District.
