The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) and the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) are developing plans for a new BART Train Station near the intersection of Montague Expressway and Capitol Boulevard in South Milpitas Transit Area Specific Plan to guide the development of land surrounding the BART station site, and land surrounding the two recently established light rail stations.
