Document Description
The purpose of the project is to widen South Bonnyview Road from the west side of the bridge at the Sacramento River, through the intersection of State Route (SR) 273 at the western boundary. South Bonnyview Road is generally a two-lane road through the study area, although it has four lanes between eastside road and Route 273. It also widens to a four-lane cross section east of Indianwood Drive, becoming four lanes across the river at the east end of the study area. The project will require modification to all four signalized intersections. Extra turn lanes will be included at intersections, and modifications of four signalized intersections will be required. Curbs, gutters, and sidewalks will be constructed on both the north and south sides of the project between East Bonnyview Road and SR 273, and raised, planted medians will be installed along portions of the roadway corridor.
