Document Description
The proposed roadway improvements encircle a portion of the developing Civic Plaza, upon which the 40,000 library and 45,000 square foot City Hall are currently being constructed. The project is bounded by Juniper Street, Smoketree Street, Eighth Avenue, and Seventh Avenue, an area totalling approximately 17 acres. The entire Civic Plaza project contains 24 acres. Roadway improvements are proposed within Juniper Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenue; in Eighth Avenue between Juniper and Smoketree Street; in Smoketree Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenue; and in Seventh Avenue between Juniper Street and Chestnut Street. The street and water line improvements are within existing dirt roadways and upon the vacant, disturbed portions of adjacent properties.
