Central Avenue has a long history of flooding problems during moderate and large storm events. The County of San Diego Department of Public Works Capital Improvements Project proposes to upgrade the drainage facilities and to alleviate flooding up to and including a 100-year runoff event and to improve public safety in the vicinity of Central Avenue.
