Document Description
The project consists of two applications for Administrative Coastal Development Permits (ACDPs) for the construction of two new single-family residences and associated residential development in the non-appealable jurisdiction of the coastal zone. The application for 3650 Decker Edison Road proposes construction of 3,334 square feet of residential living space (not to exceed 16 feet in height); an 899 square-foot garage; swimming pool; water well; installation of a conventional onsite wastewater treatment system; and associated residential improvements on an 11.61-acre vacant lot. Grading consists of approximately 1,275 cubic yards (cut) of exempt understructure grading; 1,775 cubic yards (1,375 cut and 400 fill) of exempt safety grading; and 400 cubic yards of non-exempt grading are also proposed, resulting in a total export of 2,420 cubic yards of dirt. Residence B may utilize some of soil to be exported in order to meet its grading "fill" requirements. The application for 3710 Decker Edison Road proposes construction of a new one- and partial two-story, 3,209 square foot single-family residence with a 384 square foot covered patio, 536 square foot garage, swimming pool, water well, a conventional waste water treatment system, and associated residential improvements on a 11.67 acre vacant lot. Grading consists of 682 cubic yards of exempt grading (431 cubic yards of cut and 251 fill); and 309 cubic yards of exempt safety grading (76 cut and 233 fill). Non-exempt grading consists of 968 cubic yards (519 cut and 449 fill); resulting in a total import of 61 cubic yards of dirt.
