Reasons for Exemption
The permit amendment will allow the City to more fully utilize in-place facilities, without additional construction. The increase in filter loading will provide the ability to remove one filter from service and still meet peak demands. Additionally, during summer days, the expanded capacity will allow the water treatment plant to more reliably meet peak hour demands. No adverse impacts as a result of this project.
